Yureka Cash - Social Capital CS
Lonely little world of varying sounds. Yureka Cash’s social capitol jumps from idea to idea (most of which seem like bad ideas for objectively good music). Moments of ASMR and inner dialogues that don’t make the world more livable. It unpacks how stupid you are and can be - yes. But in a way that notes how the artist finds a means of “dancing with the madness” of being here. So there is some hope for people like us. Thoughts on the purpose of make-up, suicide, womanhood and manhood, and how Yureka copes or doesn't cope with it. The cassette itself is no ones lapdog and doesn’t pander to the little world of little loudmouths perpetuating the evils of “underground music” (whatever that means)
Reminds me of Lt. Caramel. Program repeats on both sides which feels appropriate. Recommended.
